Funky Ginger Beer Cocktails

We’ve had a lot of positive feedback about our Funky Ginger Beer...

We’ve had a lot of positive feedback about our Funky Ginger Beer because it really packs a punch. Many customers have asked for some cocktail ideas that compliment it’s strong taste. So we’ve put a few together that we hope will help you sell more cocktails, and of course Funky Ginger Beer.

1 Chopped strawberry

¾ oz. Lemon juice

½ oz. Sugar syrup

2 oz. Bourbon, e.g Wild Turkey

2 Dashes Angostura bitters

2 oz. Funky Ginger Beer

Strawberry slice, for garnish

Muddle chopped strawberry, lemon juice, and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon, 2 dashes bitters, and ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top with Funky Ginger Beer; garnish with a strawberry slice.

1½ oz. Good tequila

½ oz. Crème de cassis

½ oz. Lime juice

3 oz. Funky Ginger Beer

Half a red or green chilli sliced length ways and seeds removed for serving – or just use a whole one.

Combine tequila with crème de cassis and lime juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Top with Funky Ginger Beer. Drop the chilli into glass.

2 oz. Blood orange juice

Blood orange zest and sugar mixed

1.5 oz. Tequila

Juice from 1 wedge of lime

3 oz. Funky Ginger Beer

Small amount blood orange juice into a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine blood orange zest and sugar. Dip the rim of a glass into juice first and then into the sugar mixture to coat the rim evenly. Fill the glass with ice.

In a cocktail shaker, combine some ice with 2 ounces blood orange juice, 1.5 ounces tequila, and the juice from a lime wedge. Shake vigorously. Pour into the prepared glass and top off with Funky Ginger Beer

MOSCOW MULE – we had to include this classic

4 oz. Funky Ginger Beer

2 oz. Vodka

1 Lime wedge

Stir Funky Ginger Beer and vodka in a copper mule cup, or highball, filled with crushed ice; squeeze lime wedge over top and drop into cup/glass.
